The Elten Johnny are equipped with a Term-IC heating element, which has a self-heating insole. This is powered by a rechargeable battery, which can be recharged using a USB charging cable. The control (permanent heat emission or interval switching) takes place via Bluetooth on the smartphone, a corresponding app for iOS or Android must be downloaded for this purpose. The upper is made of water-repellent and very robust cowhide. There is also a warm inner lining. The flap is closed and additionally padded. A protective toe cap made of aluminum and a metal-free penetration protection ensure less cold conduction. The chunky outsole is made of a special winter mixture and is made of PU, just like the toe protection. The fit is extra wide and also comfortable for wide feet.
