Proper foot protection is a must in many professions. Work shoes and safety footwear are prescribed by the employers' liability insurance associations for various industries as well as rescue services and emergency forces. The regulations to be fulfilled are constantly surpassed by innovative manufacturers like Haix through highly functional technologies.
Haix offers high safety standards
Paramedics and firefighters must also be able to move in rough terrain and need protection from nails or broken glass, for example. This is where the right work shoes come into play: Haix safety shoes meet the highest safety standards and have a protective toe cap that protects you from nails, broken glass and falling objects. Good work shoes offer optimal support and protect your ankles from twisting or from chemicals and oily liquids.
Haix firefighter boots are equipped with chemical-resistant upper materials and a non-slip sole. They comply with legal requirements and impress with their high durability and anatomically comfortable feel. Haix increases the wearing comfort of the functional shoes and uses particularly lightweight materials. This is an important factor, especially in the case of safety shoes for firefighters and paramedics, as the missions can last several hours and the shoes are subjected to high demands. Haix has taken this into account in the manufacture of the safety shoes and optimized its products accordingly.
Haix shoes - Made in Europe
The history of the Haix shoemaking company is still young. In 1992, the current owner Ewald Haimerl took over his father's business. With the vision of positioning the Haix brand on the world market, he has long since arrived there a quarter of a century later. Haix Schuhe's strategy is deeply rooted in its home in Mainburg, Bavaria. When you buy Haix safety footwear, you are supporting a local company that has become the world market leader. And you can only become a world market leader for safety and work shoes if you focus on quality and put your products through their paces. That's how Haix does it, and their success proves them right.
The main Sourcing and Development departments, the creative workshop of shoe development, are located at the headquarters in Mainburg. In state-of-the-art testing and research laboratories, Haix specialists develop new shoe models, set new trends and standards that safety footwear must meet. The Bavarian company now employs more than 1,200 people worldwide and manufactures more than one million pairs of safety shoes and operational boots for a wide range of sectors every year.
The full range of innovative products
Haix is the leading manufacturer of laced leather firefighting boots and continues to put a lot of energy into the development of new safety footwear. In this context, the AIRPOWER series has been replaced by the BLACK EAGLE SAFETY collection. The work boots are mostly waterproof, yet breathable due to the Gore-Tex® membrane and have an exceptionally strong grip due to their rubber sole. To improve the wearing comfort for you, modern functional shoes save weight and are equipped with metal-free toe caps.
Separate models have been developed for the forestry and gardening/landscaping sector. The latest version is the Haix Protector ULTRA, a very lightweight and visually successful cut protection boot in bold colors. Haix is also expanding its portfolio of work boots, targeting not only rescue services or firefighters, but also the army and police. With the Adventure 2.1, the successful trekking line has been upgraded and made fit for the coming years.
Casual shoes are also not in short supply. In the hunting and outdoor sector, Haix offers the BLACK EAGLE ATHLETIC and BLACK EAGLE NATURE series. Perfectly equipped with a grippy sole and an ankle-high shaft, nothing stands in the way of the next bushcraft adventure.
Haix shoes from sustainable production
Haix controls every step of its production and therefore manufactures its functional shoes in its own factory in Mala Subotica / Croatia. The leathers used are produced in a highly CO2-neutral manner by HEINEN, a German tanner from the Lower Rhine region. This has the TerraCare seal, a proof of sustainable and environmentally friendly standards in production.
Likewise, Haix shoes have the Oeko-Tex 100 seal, which stands for special skin-friendliness and can partly also be used by allergy sufferers. The bottom line is that a real quality product can only be created when all components harmonize with each other and result in a perfect composition. In addition to safety standards, Haix focuses on the durability of its products.
