The Pfanner Ventilation cut protection trousers are protective trousers that optimally protect the wearer in the forest or when working with a chainsaw. The cut protection trousers are class 1 and offer maximum protection for chainsaws with a chain speed of (20m/s). With a weight of 1200 grams for size M, it is very light and offers lasting comfort in summer and warm temperatures. You can always rely on Pfanner cut protection trousers, the materials used, workmanship and well thought-out details are second to none.
The bright orange cut protection trousers with reflective strips, according to EN 20471, offer high visibility even in poor lighting conditions.
In addition to their low weight, the cut protection trousers also offer many details that can make everyday work in the forest and wood much easier. The Pfanner Stretch-Air fabric is installed on the back of the pants, which is bi-elastic, quick-drying and highly breathable. There are ventilation slits with zippers in the back of the knees, and a breathable mesh fabric is used on the waistband of the cut protection trousers. The Pfanner Ventilation cut protection trousers 101761 do not have an internal gaiter for additional ventilation.
Pfanner Austria is famous for its ultra-robust fabric, which has proven itself in use thousands of times. The front of the cut protection trousers is equipped with the water-repellent, oil and dirt-resistant GLADIATOR fabric, the pre-shaped knees and the inside of the leg cuffs are additionally reinforced with Kevlar® and contribute significantly to the longevity of the trousers. No matter whether it's thorn bushes, undergrowth or cuttings, the front of the protective trousers can handle anything.
In addition to the mentioned features of the Pfanner ventilation, all the other details make the big difference. The zippers on the side pockets, for example, open upwards, so you take the jacket up at the same time as opening it and can immediately reach into the pocket without having to reach around. The back waistband is extended and protects the kidneys. There are also three robust loops to which the Pfanner suspenders can be attached. This is completely elastic, textile and with long Velcro fasteners. This means a perfect fit is always guaranteed. The inner lining of the cut protection trousers is made of high-quality functional fiber, transports moisture immediately away from the body and guarantees a permanently dry feeling.
Although the Pfanner Ventilation cut protection trousers are really lightweight, safety has not been compromised. The cut protection area is made from six layers of Dyneema® cut protection fabric, one of the market leaders in this area. The closure is regulated via a sturdy metal zipper and two locking metal buttons. The ruler pocket is offset, which means that the ruler pocket is passed past the knee when kneeling or sitting, does not stick into the back of the knee and cannot fall out of the pocket. The Pfanner pants are available in two colors. On the one hand in a clearly visible red, which can contribute significantly to safety in the often dark environment in the forest or for the arborist in the tree, and on the other hand in a medium gray tone. Both trousers have a black Kevlar® material at the knees and leg ends.
In combination with a Pfanner shirt and a Protos protective helmet, you are perfectly equipped for your work in the forest or in the wood. The color combination most chosen by buyers is red and yellow. The wide selection of Pfanner Austria also allows for many other combinations. The functional shirts or jackets are also available in standard colors such as olive green, gray or navy blue. The Protos helmet can be refined according to the wearer's wishes. But here too, the most common choice is the mixture of red and signal yellow.
