Combat boots - with these boots the next operation can come

Whether for the police, fire department, federal armed forces or rescue service - mission boots are needed everywhere. This durable footwear is one of the most important items of equipment. The safety shoes are often made of high-quality and waterproof leather. So that you can find a foothold on any surface, the soles are extremely slip-resistant and offer penetration protection, because they consist of several layers. Furthermore, it is important to combine freedom of movement, safety and wearing comfort. At this point, the selection of durable, stable and lightweight materials is of particular importance. Therefore, leather is used in many cases. Comfort plays another important role. For this reason, many safety shoes have breathable membranes that prevent unpleasant odors. These membranes include GORE-TEX®, for example.

In addition, combat boots offer more stability and contribute to the cushioning of loads to protect joints, muscles and tendons. At the same time, the material must be as light as possible so as not to tire you out prematurely.

Well-known brands of corresponding operational boots are HAIX, LOWA and Magnum. Many manufacturers develop their combat boots in cooperation with the military, police and combat units or rescue services. This allows the individual adaptation of the combat boots to numerous needs.

Operation boots for rescue service and co

For the German Armed Forces or police officers, the durable footwear is just as much part of the equipment as the rescue service and fire department. Here, the boots must be slip-resistant and in some cases also meet very special requirements.

Emergency physicians need shoes that are insensitive to body fluids such as blood and saliva. These can, under certain circumstances, significantly change the texture of the surface. Ideally, the upper of the shoe is reinforced at the toes so that the leather and textiles wear less quickly as soon as you kneel. This position is always in demand, especially for firefighters or rescue services.

In rescue service, speed is a decisive factor and there is no time to make elaborate lacing. The right equipment can save time here, because if the boots are equipped with a quick-release fastener, you only have to slip in and close the strong zipper in the middle of the shoe.

Combat boots and duty boots for army and police

Ideally, your duty boots have good midfoot support and a wedge for cushioning, so that some of the energy released while running is available to you again. In many cases, the units have to cover long distances and therefore rely on special soles that support a fatigue-free rolling of the foot.

When you buy your combat boots, make sure that they don't pinch at any point. Some models offer additional protection from falling objects with a protective toe cap. A high shaft provides additional stability and helps prevent you from twisting your ankle.

The German armed forces and police must be equipped with the right gear even for extreme situations. In the desert, for example, soldiers have to cope with extreme temperatures and therefore need combat boots with maximum breathability. In many cases, the upper material is made of easy-care leather, so the safety footwear reflects sun rays better and keeps heat away from the inside of the shoe. This effect can be further enhanced with lighter colored leather. The lighter color ensures that the inside of the shoe is less likely to heat up.

Other combat units move in cold or very wet terrain and therefore require waterproof, breathable, slip-resistant safety footwear that provides grip on any surface.
