The ELTEN WELLMAXX series
The MADDOX belongs to the Wellmaxx® series, which has unprecedented wearing and rolling comfort. This shoe series is part of a new type of foot protection concept, which is based on the increased requirements of workplaces with a high proportion of standing or walking indoors. The revolutionary sole technology comes from the sports sector and has been used there for a long time by a well-known sports shoe manufacturer. The BASF development consists of the material INFINERGY and is used in the Elten Wellmaxx series as a sole core in the outsole. The concept is simple and if you take a closer look at the safety shoes, you will recognize it immediately. The structure of the sole core contains thousands of small foam particles with tiny enclosed air cells. This construction allows the sole to be extremely compressible. As soon as the pressure is released, the sole immediately springs back into its original shape. This property ensures maximum damping properties and the highest possible suspension comfort.
High breathability through microfiber
The upper material of the Elten MADDOX consists of a robust, water-repellent and breathable textile and microfiber. The textile weave of the material ensures adequate ventilation and the optimal removal of moisture from the inside of the shoe. The breathable bioactive inner lining also has a supporting effect, which optimally directs moisture transport through soft mesh fabric.
Lots of room for wide feet
The cut of the shoes is generous and offers enough space for people with wide feet. According to the BGR191 standard, the shoe can also be orthopedically adjusted or expanded with your own insoles. The SENSICARE insoles from Elten, for example, can be combined very well here. The semi-orthopaedic insoles prevent malpositions from the outset and make walking and standing even more comfortable.
Security writ large
The shoe should remain lightweight. That is why the safety shoes have a toe cap made of thin-walled steel. The cap offers enough space inside and offers a generous volume. Reflective elements on the toes and in the area of the lacing ensure additional safety in the dark. The ESD-capable insole ensures electrostatic properties. The outsole is made of PU/TPU and is slightly profiled. Due to its good mixing ratio, it offers perfect grip and maximum anti-slip properties.
