Maximum protection through security class S3

The HAIX functional shoes are waterproof and puncture-proof. The tips of the shoes are provided with a reinforced overcap to prevent rapid wear. The cap made of glass fiber reinforced plastic prevents toes from being injured by impact and crushing, for example by falling parts. In order to save weight, HAIX has built these shoes completely metal-free and also given them an ESD capability. ESD is a requirement, especially in areas where highly sensitive electronic components are used.

Waterproof and breathable

The Black Eagle Safety 40 unfolds its full performance when used outdoors. For permanent weather resistance, HAIX has installed a three-layer membrane from Gore-Tex®. This constantly prevents water from penetrating inside and at the same time makes the safety shoes breathable. The moisture inside, which is caused by sweating, is channeled to the outside via microscopically small "windows", but at the same time the penetration of water is prevented. This feature offers great comfort as feet stay dry and warm.

Functional upper

The surface of the HAIX shoes consists of a fibre-reinforced microfibre-textile mix. This is soft and robust at the same time. With the smart lacing system, the manufacturer has installed a quick lacing system with which the safety shoes can be closed and opened quickly. The end of the laces can be tucked into a pocket in the tongue.

Breathable inner lining

The functional inner lining is abrasion-resistant, very soft and well padded and perfectly transfers moisture from the inside to the membrane. The special insole absorbs sweat and stores it without creating a disturbing feeling. The insert is easy to remove and can be washed normally in the washing machine. A separate heel cup, which also supports the feet when walking and prevents a malposition, ensures good and stable walking comfort.

Grippy outsole

The sole of the HAIX shoes is very well profiled and very non-slip and robust thanks to the rubber compound. The deep profile guarantees a firm grip on smooth stone floors, ice and snow. Due to the good insulation, it also protects against cold and is oil and petrol resistant. The metal-free penetration protection not only makes the shoes flexible but also protects them from sharp objects on the floor.
