The Haix Protector Ultra 2.0 GTX has a hydrophobic and breathable 2.8 - 3.0 mm thick suede upper. The seam-free sides also ensure less wear.
The well-known Gore-Tex® Performance ensures waterproofness and breathability for the inner lining. The abrasion-resistant fleece intermediate layer, in combination with the HAIX® Climate System, which uses the pumping movement that occurs when walking to transport moisture through the ventilation openings on the shaft and tongue, ensures optimal climate comfort for all seasons.
For possible unpleasant incidents with the chainsaw, the Protector Ultra 2.0 GTX offers protection with its cut protection class 2 (24 m/sec.) according to EN ISO 17249:2013. In addition, the anatomically shaped and padded HAIX® Protective toe cap protects the tip of the foot.
The stable, abrasion-resistant VIBRAM rubber/PU sole is ideal for any terrain and is torsion-resistant and dimensionally stable, which leads to reduced point loads. The low weight of the PU cushioning wedge in the sole ensures greater rolling comfort and good shock absorption. In addition, the sole is heat and fuel resistant and non-marking according to EN ISO 20345:2011. The comfortable insole is both cushioning and moisture-wicking and, with the separate heel cups, ensures good foot guidance and cushioning. In addition, the softly padded and stretchable shaft end offers excellent wearing comfort and offers protection against dirt (e.g. sawdust) with the rubber tip and heel protection. The shoe is rounded off by the two-zone lacing system, which allows the shoe to be adjusted separately in the foot and shaft area.
