The Säntis from Pfanner is a cut protection shoe with debris protection and a unique ceramic upper. The cut protection layer is processed under the upper material. Cut protection, upper material and debris protection are fixed together by patented rivets, which means that the individual layers can no longer shift. This design makes it possible to produce a more than stable shoe.
The almost seamless surface of the Säntis prevents wear and tear on seams that are usually heavily used. The ball eyelets, which are processed for the lacing, adapt to the preferences when lacing and thus ensure the desired hold. A neoprene collar has also been added to prevent the leather from tearing open.
The boot combines a breathable Cordura lining with a Sympatex membrane. Combined, these materials allow for a dry and comfortable fit. The Sympatex membrane is also permanently waterproof and highly breathable.
The outsole from Vibram offers a stable foundation. The sole has the typical Vibram grip and also reliably absorbs the impact of a lifetime of work. In addition, the boot is crampon-proof and therefore also suitable for work in difficult terrain.
The Säntis is equipped for sufficient protection against possible incidents with the chainsaw and is certified according to cut protection class 2. A corresponding aluminum toe cap also protects against impacts and loads on the tip of the foot.
